I love paper! My technique is all about paper! I enjoy the simple hands-on techniques that is considered “old school” today and simply consists of paper, scissors and adhesive (yep, that’s pretty much it). I have a Ooh La La collection of paper that inspires me and cutting freehand is my thing. I also like vintage matchbooks and antique print letters. I use old discarded matchbooks and give them a second life. All my matchbook designs are created with the same “technical” way my paper designs are…you guessed it, scissors and adhesive.

I work with a medley of mediums to make jewelry. I create a diverse range of body art to give the client a variety of opportunities to experience the beauty and satisfaction that can come from body ornamentation. My favorite medium to use is polymer clay. It allows me to make dramatic statement pieces that are wearable art. Many of these pieces incorporate beads that I have also handcrafted. These are my favorite pieces of jewelry to create. These pieces require a good deal of confidence to wear by the owner because they will wear you if you don't wear it like you "own it". These pieces have attitude! I also make pieces that are more conservative and whisper confidence.

Grand Glimmers by Linda Grandstaff
I am a Graphic Designer by profession and a jewelry artist by passion. I incorporate various metals including copper, sterling silver (.925) and fine silver (.999) in my pieces. I also use semi-precious gemstones in some of my pieces. I like to create custom jewelry that appeals and is affordable to many individuals. My jewelry is an eclectic mix of Modern (domed rings) to Victorian (filigree) designs. All designs are hand fabricated by me and I welcome commissions. I try to create unusual designs that stand out from the crowd but are very affordable at $50.00 and up.

I have been crocheting since I was a little girl. I like to work in a very small scale, producing tiny lace doilies, encircled in sterling silver, that you can wear. I also make larger doilies from vintage patterns and frame them under glass, or use them to embellish silk scarves. http://mccordworks.com 713-899-2814 Newsletter, bio & more!

I create contemporary furniture, wall sculptures and other decorative items out of wood.
When the design calls for it stone and metal accents are used. Most of my current work contains
curved and shaped elements that draw the eye and create a sense of movement. My works are created
using mostly traditional woodworking and power carving techniques but I will use any technique
that will help me execute my ideas.
