Katie Hall

by Katie Hall by Katie Hall by Katie Hall

I've been painting my bedroom walls since I was a kid and it never really stopped. Most of my work is inspired by Van Gogh and Monet, mixed in with a little South American flair. I use all kinds of mediums: acrylic paints, beads, puffy paints, sharpee markers, glitter, magazine cutouts - it's always random. Read more!

Some people write music, some fish, some drink; I doodle. It's somewhat therapeutic for me and channels all of my energy onto one big white canvas. I never really think about what I'm going to paint, there is no filter, it just comes out. I'd say about halfway through it I've decided what I want it to look like. That's the best part about art; there are no rules, no time frames, no lines to stay in, just time to be.

In September '09, I was the featured artist at 'Heights Modern Home.' This will be my first time in a booth outside & I can't wait!

I would love to create a customized painting for you if you have a design in mind already. Just let me know! ~Katie Hall
