The linked flyer below describes the beginning of what we hope will become an annual Scholarship Bowling
Tournament in honor of Tim Laufenberg who passed away in an unfortunate vehicle accident in the early morning
of Dec 13, 2009. We are inviting the many friends whose lives he has touched to a “Memorial Scholarship
Bowling Tournament” that will establish monetary scholarships to our bowling youth and benefit Cystic Fibrosis
research, the disease that he lived with daily and that he “hated” so very much.
This May 16th fund raiser is to directly benefit Cystic Fibrosis and provide scholarship monies for our local bowling
youth. It is sponsored by The Times Square Entertainment Bowling Center and is conveniently located in Katy on
the Grand Parkway, ½ mile south of the I-10 in Times Square.
We hope that you, your friends, business associates, students, teammates, faculty members, etc. can attend and
enjoy yourselves at this worthwhile event.
Your contribution of a product or service that we may raffle to the bowling participants as part of this event would
be appreciated. Your employee’s registration or cash donation is welcome and will support on-going Cystic
Fibrosis research and the continued development of scholarships for our bowling youth.

to your office or place of business and personally pick up your cash or product donation.
