I work with a medley of mediums to make jewelry. I create a diverse range of body art to give the client a variety of opportunities to experience the beauty and satisfaction that can come from body ornamentation. My favorite medium to use is polymer clay. It allows me to make dramatic statement pieces that are wearable art. Many of these pieces incorporate beads that I have also handcrafted. These are my favorite pieces of jewelry to create. These pieces require a good deal of confidence to wear by the owner because they will wear you if you don't wear it like you "own it". These pieces have attitude! I also make pieces that are more conservative and whisper confidence.

A Punkin Card Company

A Punkin Card Company is paper, stationery, and life. Started in February 2007 by Amie Needham, a Houston area artist and designer, the collection emerged as simple card creations to enhance one's life. Soon the collection rocked into the modern realm of bold colors and fun, retro patterns. All the while taking Amie Needham's designs to the next level. This season I am offering paintings on canvas and a variety of whimsical and fun pieces like cookie trays, bird houses and stools. A virtual variety of color and abstract items as well as a few items painted with recognizable portions of masterpieces I have chosen from the eras of Impressionism, the Fauves, and the Renaissance. I love paper! My technique is all about paper! I enjoy the simple hands-on techniques that is considered “old school” today and simply consists of paper, scissors and adhesive (yep, that’s pretty much it). I have a Ooh La La collection of paper that inspires me and cutting freehand is my thing. I also like vintage matchbooks and antique print letters. I use old discarded matchbooks and give them a second life. All my matchbook designs are created with the same “technical” way my paper designs are…you guessed it, scissors and adhesive.

Grand Glimmers by Linda Grandstaff

I am a Graphic Designer by profession and a jewelry artist by passion. I incorporate various metals including copper, sterling silver (.925) and fine silver (.999) in my pieces. I also use semi-precious gemstones in some of my pieces. I like to create custom jewelry that appeals and is affordable to many individuals. My jewelry is an eclectic mix of Modern (domed rings) to Victorian (filigree) designs. All designs are hand fabricated by me and I welcome commissions. I try to create unusual designs that stand out from the crowd but are very affordable at $50.00 and up.

b.bags

b.bags was born August of 2008 when I, Lora Bunge, decided that I wanted to try my hand at sewing some simple bags out of upcycled and repurposed materials on my "new to me" hand-me-down 1970's Kenmore sewing machine. One thing led to another, and here we are today! All of my handbags are made out of upcycled clothes, fabrics, buttons, belts, bracelets, ties, you name it. I LOVE the concept of reusing materials and giving new life to something that may have otherwise ended up in the dump. And, of course, every b.bag is designed and handmade by yours truly! Sam VanBibber

What is Steam Punk Jewelry? It gets its popularity from a growing resistance to corporate modernization, the mass commercialization of virtually everything, coupled with the surge of nostalgia for all things vintage and antique.
All jewelry is hand assembled, one of a kind and created by me and is 99% re-purposed or recycled found pieces,Broken unrepairable vintage jewelry, wind up watches, gears and other found objects that were considered "junk" and ready to be tossed away. I have rescued them and made beautiful Art pieces to be worn and cherished.
