My name is Dakota Zayles and I have been an abstract artist for over 20 years. I have participated in renaissance festivals as an artist for the past six years. Of the six I spent three as the artist for the Texas Renaissance Festival for all special products which included t-shirts, tankards, collectible pewter and pins. In 2009 I launched my own company called My Favorite Dress Shop which features my original art on a dress instead of a traditional canvas. Inspired by the first dress I created during the three years I lived in a tent at festivals working for others in hopes that one day I would have my own art shop. It seemed that no matter how tough it got wearing my favorite dress always seemed to put a smile on my face and helped me feel that I too could do anything and live my dreams.
