Art brings you a breath of freshness and happiness, in a world whose reality can at times be somber. I use bold colors and free movements to convey Color Impressions that sparkle with life and joy. My paintings, Mono-types and prints are strongly influenced by Mexican Art and by the intense colors found throughout Mexico. Colors, through their vibrancy, are my signature and the strength of my expression. Throughout the years, Mexican Colors have amalgamated my style, giving continuity to my work.
Currently I am generating abstract, expressionist paintings using primarily acrylics as my tool of experimentation. Toss a Pop Art influence into the mix to round out what impacts my style. Mixed media is an increasing influence with many works incorporating plaster, copper wire, organic elements - sand, salt, rock, glass as well as print media. A few even include a favourite old shirt to worn to wear again. My art is diverse in subject and is extremely colorful and textural. It should provoke more than one sense in you.
Pennies From Heaven Designs creates art and more for the eclectic soul. We incorporate a little bit of pop art, a dash of flash art and a touch of Tex-Mex into our work. We believe life should be full of color and our art reflects that feeling.

My paintings are based from direct observation. I take my French easel out into the city I call home, Houston TX. The subject matter, although always changing, is often the confluence of what I love about Houston; it's buildings, bayous, highways, tree lined streets and lush parks and gardens. I hope you can see the beauty of Houston in my Urban Landscapes. 713-305-6626 http://deatlyart.com
I enjoy working in a wide variety of media and currently my main focus has been creating jewelry redesigns (altered art). I greatly enjoy redesigning jewelry as finding just the right components to collage together into one-of-a-kind pieces is exciting! Another focus is embossed metal art (repujado). Working in 36 gauge metal sheets, I emboss my linear designs which I then embolden with blocks of bright enamel paint. I developed this bold style of embossed metal from the idea to keep the designs clear and colorful which results in a stained glass quality in its simplicity. My favorite motifs include the sun, sunflower, and heart. It makes me happy when my work brings happiness to others!

My art is oil on canvas painted in surrealist manner. It is mostly demonstrate the over whelming nature of modern technology, its effect on life quality that has meaning, freedom of chice, human sense of scale, and individual creativity. Technology has always been a major mean for creating new physical and human environment. It is possible to ask, whether technology will also destroy the global civilization that human being have been created. No one can predict the impact of technology and its consequences on the social cultural and economical environment.

Watercolor Expressions by Mike Vollmer
I have been painting watercolors seriously since 1984. My initial passion was to paint landscapes and explore texture methods in watercolor. Since 2000, I have been interested in prophetic art after seeing it done as a part of worship during church.
For nearly a decade, artist Pettus Mitchell has traveled around the United States gleaning inspiration for his future works as well as displaying his art at local festivals and art galleries. His paintings run the gamut from historical portraits of the African Americans migration north in the 1940s to their current return to the modern south. Some of his pieces are inspired by cultural phenomena specific to the late 20th century, such as the popularity of video games and the rise of the digital era. Pettus himself is an accomplished graphic artist; he is also a CGI animator. His work is prominently featured at the Center for Southern Folklore and he is a mainstay at the Centerís annual Memphis Music & Heritage Festival. Mitchell made his first appearance at First Saturday Arts Market in March 2011.
