Pearland Artist Featured At Heights Art Market - Chosen From Over 100 Artists

HOUSTON, July 25, 2007 - David Moore, a resident of Pearland is one of thirty artists invited to show their work at the popular outdoor Yale Street Arts Market. Moore, a professional graphic design artist creates colorful mixed media and assemblage pieces. Moore was chosen from over 100 other artists that attend the art market throughout the year on the first Saturday for his unique style and presentation of work.

The August 4 evening market is part of White Linen Night in the Heights, an annual neighborhood event focusing on art, culture and community. Art exhibits, live music and refreshments will be available all over the historic neighborhood from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. The Yale Street Arts Market is held on the first Saturday of each month and open summers in the evenings only through September, returning to daytime hours October through May. Original paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewelry are presented by the artists under white canopied tents.

The arts market is located on the parking lot of Wind Water Asian Antiques Gallery at 548 W. 19th St. near many of the popular Heights restaurants and shops.
