LOCAL KINGWOOD ARTIST TO SHOWCASE ART AT HEIGHTS FINE ART MARKET
HOUSTON, June 28, 2007 - Kingwood resident Michael Atchison is one of the artists accepted into the much heralded Yale Street Arts Market for the July 7 show in the Heights. A photographer, Atchison only recently found the time to pursue his lifelong ambition of artistic photography after 40 years in finance and accounting as a management consultant . "I have studied art and photography since I was 14 years old, so this is not a new discovery for me, nor has it been done as a spur of the moment thing." Atchison said of his photography. Atchison's photography is printed using an archival giclee method on canvas and paper.
